Happy Saturday :-)

Hello everyone!

So ive had a really nice day today, ive spent most of it mooching around shops with my friend Vicky and her little man. Found some bits and bobs for squirts birthday and had a lovely lunch out in Wetherspoons. The weathers not been too bad so we managed to walk into town and not worry about getting rained on which is always a winner!

So this morning was a lovely early wake up call of 6:45am yaaaaawn! I really didnt want to get out of bed so i grabbed squirt and her beloved peppa pig dvd and snuggled down under my duvet back in bed again for another hour or so... happy days!
But then the tummy rumbles kicked in in both our stomachs so breakfast was on order.

I soaked 35g of Jordans NAS muesli in rhubarb and strawberry yogurt and sliced up a finest grapefruit. Now yesterday i seriously begrudged having to pay £1.50 for two grapefruits as there was none of the red grapefruits...however i take it back as it was utterly gorgeous, not sour at all and seriously juicey, so i would purchase again with no qualms! I also had a big fat glass of nas squash alongside it as well.

After a lovely long hot shower it was time to get ready for town, after walking round the shops, nattering and putting the world to rights we decided it was lunchtime and headed to our local whetherspoons...happy days as there are sw friendly dishes there!
I settle for a diet pepsi and the sweet chilli noodles for one syn, and my goodness they are full of chilli!!! Hot hot hot!!! However a couple of chips may have found my mouth so im going to add on 2 syns for them as well.
Now i stopped at the market for some tomatoes for breakfast tomorrow and the silly bloke decided to pour them into a brown bag...and put in a carrier bag with my pineapple...take a guess at how many tomatoes survived the journey home?! About half the tomatoes turned into tomato soup in the bottom of the bag, its a good job they were only 50p!!!
Back home for a cuppa and its time to prep for dinner!

Tonight im very excited about tea as im making the first (of many!) recipes from my kindly loaned Taste of Asia book...Kung Pao chicken, all i have to say is its devine!!! I served it with some fine egg noodles and a pak choi.
I even did the really good thing of portioning it out (rather than eating the entire pan!) So i have three more delicious meals of this coming up as well...oh happy days!!!

I also enjoyed a slice of seeded sensation bread which is devine and its so lovely being able to have proper bread even if its synned at 6 syns per slice.

Im having a tesco healthy living chocolate mousse and some mango for my pudding a bit later.
