Happy Saturday :-)

Hello everyone!

So ive had a really nice day today, ive spent most of it mooching around shops with my friend Vicky and her little man. Found some bits and bobs for squirts birthday and had a lovely lunch out in Wetherspoons. The weathers not been too bad so we managed to walk into town and not worry about getting rained on which is always a winner!

So this morning was a lovely early wake up call of 6:45am yaaaaawn! I really didnt want to get out of bed so i grabbed squirt and her beloved peppa pig dvd and snuggled down under my duvet back in bed again for another hour or so... happy days!
But then the tummy rumbles kicked in in both our stomachs so breakfast was on order.

I soaked 35g of Jordans NAS muesli in rhubarb and strawberry yogurt and sliced up a finest grapefruit. Now yesterday i seriously begrudged having to pay £1.50 for two grapefruits as there was none of the red grapefruits...however i take it back as it was utterly gorgeous, not sour at all and seriously juicey, so i would purchase again with no qualms! I also had a big fat glass of nas squash alongside it as well.

After a lovely long hot shower it was time to get ready for town, after walking round the shops, nattering and putting the world to rights we decided it was lunchtime and headed to our local whetherspoons...happy days as there are sw friendly dishes there!
I settle for a diet pepsi and the sweet chilli noodles for one syn, and my goodness they are full of chilli!!! Hot hot hot!!! However a couple of chips may have found my mouth so im going to add on 2 syns for them as well.
Now i stopped at the market for some tomatoes for breakfast tomorrow and the silly bloke decided to pour them into a brown bag...and put in a carrier bag with my pineapple...take a guess at how many tomatoes survived the journey home?! About half the tomatoes turned into tomato soup in the bottom of the bag, its a good job they were only 50p!!!
Back home for a cuppa and its time to prep for dinner!

Tonight im very excited about tea as im making the first (of many!) recipes from my kindly loaned Taste of Asia book...Kung Pao chicken, all i have to say is its devine!!! I served it with some fine egg noodles and a pak choi.
I even did the really good thing of portioning it out (rather than eating the entire pan!) So i have three more delicious meals of this coming up as well...oh happy days!!!

I also enjoyed a slice of seeded sensation bread which is devine and its so lovely being able to have proper bread even if its synned at 6 syns per slice.

Im having a tesco healthy living chocolate mousse and some mango for my pudding a bit later.

Weigh in day and fast forward results....

Hello!!!!

Well its friday and i had my weigh in this morning
I was there nice and early mainly because i wanted to get rid of the butterflies dancing around in my belly, i was beginning to feel slightly sick with nerves!
So i toddle up to the scales with some trepidation, close my eyes til i hear that beep, look down and.......

SIX AND A HALF POUNDS OFF!!!!!

my biggest EVER  loss!!!

Im so happy that i do a little jig! I then dont tell my consultant what ive lost so she can have a nice surprise a bit later in image therapy! :-D

Im so so so so happy with everything ive achieved this week:

- my ability to stick with the plan even when temptation was right under my nose.

- realisation of where i have been going wrong the last few months in my portion control, big may work for some but my body prefers little and often which im fine with.

- that i have fantastic support around me both in and out of group. (I sort of already knew this though!)

- i have a lot more determination than i give myself credit for, other times i would have given up when times got tough but not this time.

Its been a really good day and i have a battle plan now for the rest of my journey.

Im 40lbs down and 67lbs to go, and only 2lbs away from my elusive 3st shiney, which i want before my hubby comes home in 20 odd days, hopefully a slightly easier ask than before now i know my strategy for moving forward and downwards!

So after my happy start to the day despite missing a call yet again from my hubby, i settle down once at home to a cheese toasty, hot cross bun and my easter duck (getting all my easter stuff out the way so i have more time to work full steam on plan!) and my new sw magazine and a loan copy of the taste of asia book, for some cooking inspiration and to write my shopping list for later.

Once squirts up from her nap we head to tesco...big mistake, anyone would think that the world was ending, not that the shops were shut for just once measly day...how the hell must we have coped when all the shops were shut on a sunday...?!?! Oh thats right we used the other six days of the week to shop for stuff! I come out seriously stressed, peed off i cant get half the things i wanted, the shop looked like it had been attacked, there was hardly anything on produce, the queues were rediculous and to top it off when i came out some ass had run a trolley into the front bumper of my car! Grrrrrr!

Anyways once i finally got back to normality and the safety of my home i unpacked what little shopping i had and sat down for a coffee!

Tea tonight was warburtons sandwich thin pizzas, chips and beans. Already im noticing little changes as i would usually have had the wraps for 8 syns as they were bigger but actually the much smaller 5 and a half syns (i think) were just as filling, the small can of beans was just as good as a whole large can and 3 small potatoes for chips were much better sized than the 6 i would have used! See all positive changes!

I will be back on the usual sw plan tomorrow and will therefore be diary-ing it up properly along with my pic collage too!
But tonight i leave you with my fridge plaque and im off for a brew and to continue my mag and recipe book reading :-)

Night all ♥ xx

Thursday 28 March 2013

Oh so unbeliveably tired :-(

Hi everyone, today im writing to you absolutely shattered, squirt had night terrors last night, while we were stayin over the folks, so in a bid to not wake the entire household, including two members that were both on early turns, i decided that as she wouldnt go back in her cot without screaming, that she could come kip in with me. Oh what a mistake!
Finally at 2:45am she fell asleep, me however did not, she fidgets so much in her sleep i was being hit, elbowed, kicked and rolled on! Im not entirely sure i actually went back to sleep at all, then she was back up at 6am again when she heard people getting ready for work.
This made work for me incredibly long and i was so tired im pretty sure i was on another planet!

Anywho, for brekky i had my nommy proper bagel, quark and cherry tomatoes and a very naughty coffee...i really really needed it!
I obviously sensed i would need fuelling for the morning as it was super super busy, anyone would think the apocolypse was coming not just easter!

I was so happy when lunchtime finally rolled round, i had drunk a litre of water while on my checkout, but things were so busy still i couldnt get my salad leaves for my lunch otherwise i would have spent half an hour queueing! So it was just a mini pitta bread, cherry tomatoes, my french fries crisps and a packet of green beans (i ate them today!)
I was hoping that when i went back out that things would have eased off a bit but nooooo!
Finally the end of my shift drew near with another litre of water under my belt, hometime woooopiiieeee!!

After getting squirt to bed for hopefully a fuller night sleep than last night, i shoved on another cheeky ready meal under my allowed calories...tonights joyful meal was sweet chilli chicken and noodles, this time courtesy of tesco healthy living range. Better than the weight watchers one last night but not great! I honestly have no idea how people live off these things permanently, bring on the fresh cooked slimming world food again!

I have some strawberries, a hot choc and fun size choccy bar ready for my gorgeous, heavenly, amazing bed in the not so distant future

Tomorrow is weigh in day and to be perfectly honest im absolutely bricking it, if i have done all this and resisted so many things that have been wofted under my nose and i dont lose or only lose half a pound, i will be absolutely devestated, so please wish me good luck ♣

Night all xx

Come see how i got on and come like my fb page "slimming world style" x

Feeling very proud! :-)

Wahhhooooo i am managing to finally post a blog on a wednesday, after tno shows the last few weeks i thought i had better pull my finger out and write one lol.

Wednesdays and thursdays always throw me as its the only days i work, one late and one early, i always forget to photo my food too! Well i half succeeded today, i managed brekky and tea, parts of tea tho ooooh i really suck at this!

Well today started with a rock of a bagel...silly weightwatchers bagels...you could have thrown it through a window or killed someone with it, i have bought regular bagels for future bagel usage! I topped with quark and baby plum tomatoes, and some squash on the side, of the drinking not eating variety!

I then rushed around to get bits ironed for work, overnight stuff packed and then zoomed up to my folks to drop squirt off, stopping for a cheeky lemon and green tea on the way to work.

I managed to drink 2litres of water before my lunch break (thirsty work all this nattering to customers!)

I then picked up my new uniform finally after months of ordering, my shirt was now two sizes smaller wahooo and i have trousers that actually zip up now rather than a broken zip and no holes in. Victory!

Lunch today was a mini wholemeal pitta, a bag of salad leaves and packet of salt and vinegar french fries - no pic as i remembered after i had eaten it all! - actually surprisingly filling and i left my veg option as i was full...actually i still havent eaten it!

Finally it was hometime and i had managed another half a litre of water, now this is where i had a serious test of every will power i have; for my tea i had a weightwatchers steam meal of spicy mango chicken, sounded nice and was ok but only had two teeny tiny pieces of chicken in, and not worth the £2.79 price tag (its also so small i serve on a side plate!!!) whilst my parents tucked into fish and chip shop chippy!!!! Oh my days i was literally drooling on the floor, the smell was to die for...worst of all dad took my car to get them so the smell was lingering in there too!! But i didnt touch a chip! Im so so so very proud of myself :-D

Still hungry and cold i had a lemon and green tea, my yogurt, 2 satsumas, my apple and a funsize choc bar...id saved all my snacks for the evening as my parents tend to break out various niceys of an evening usually including crisps or peanuts or choc or my very skinny mum will break out the cheese and crackers! So i was fully prepped for this happening but it didnt lol!

So now im tucked up in bed as i suspect as both my dad and bro are on early shifts tomo that squirt will wake when they do about half 5 ...... ERGH!!!!

So i wish you all a good night xx

Tuesday 26 March 2013

Evening all!!!

Sorry i couldnt think of a more witty, interesting or smart title lol, its so cold that i think my brain is beginning to become unfunctional! Brrrrrrrr!
Infact its that cold we had some white stuff falling out the skies this morning.

I found it soooo hard dragging my bum out of bed this morning, fresh hay is always a doozy to get out of especially when i was so warm and snug, but unfortunately my daughter wasnt having any of it and i had to get up just gone 7am, erghhhh!!!
So todays the first day ive got up and i dont have a fuzzy head and my hands arent shaking whhhooooooo! I may be finally coming out the otherside of the caffine pit!
Ooo i tried every one of my new teas between posting last night and breakfast, and actually they are all really nice, all flavours i wouldnt usually pick but i found them very light and refreshing :-)

Breakfast this morning was weetabix and the other half of my grape fruit and managed to stealth in a small coffee from my left over milk, it was out of this world and i enjoyed every single velvety sip that warmed my belly! I was back in a happy place again.

Now i was supposed to be going for a walk and play in our local woods with my sis in law but as it decided to start snowing and it was bitterly cold, i decided it probably wasnt the best idea and instead plumped for a day playing silly games indoors...seriously sun you need to make an appearance like NOW!!!!

Lunch today was a watercress and chicken sandwich with french fries and my veg selection today was green beans, went down so well and was really scrummy, im getting used to these smaller portions and having a drink at every meal as well, infact i seem to be constantly drinking something. I did however make the mistake of buying no added sugar dandelion and burdock and then remembered that i dont actually like it lol silly girl!!!

Me and squirt decided to settle down and watch Nemo for a bit and then i went off to make her dinner...of which she ate none :-( i had lovingly made fish pie, stealthed in some veg and she didnt even lick the spoon, annoyed was a bit of an understatement and when she finally went to bed she didnt even want the fruit i offered so im assuming she was full up still or not hungry as she never turns down fruit. I wish i had her mentality of if shes not hungry she wont eat, not mine which is oh well its dinner time spose i better eat something!

So my dinner time rolled round and i think i made a bad choice for tea tonight, i wanted something hot but instead tonight was jacket potato, cheese and salad. Not very warming at all and im currently shivering lol.

I shall look forward to my hot choc, 2 choc fingers and my nice warm bed again in a bit after The Big Bang Theory finishes as ive got work again tomorrow, wednesday again already where did the week go?!??!!? I also promise that i will get a blog up tomorrow after recieving a lovely message this morning saying i was a star for blogging and helping others...made my day :-) ♥

Night all xx

Monday 25 March 2013

Im baaaaack! And still surviving on FF...just...

Ok so yet again apologies for a lack of blog yesterday, i had a fab food day but i have a sneaky feeling im the victim of some caffine DT's at the mo...

So yesterday was day two of my Fast Forward, the food im not really finding a problem, i think my tummy is a bit more accustomed to smaller portions now and im looking forward to my meals more and savouring them too, therefore eating more slowly as well.
I actually thought when i first saw the amounts that i had to eat was so little, ive now slowly turned that around to actually what i was eating was faaar too much...have i actually been sabotaging myself without reaslising? Now sw states you can eat unlimited food until youre full without calorie counting etc but i actually think ive been taking it to extreme, i could quite easily eat an entire punnet of strawberries in one go or a whole melon...all speed foods and good for me...but far too much! After only three days on this plan makes me realise ive been going about this the entire wrong way and although ive been eating all good foods, ive probably been eating for two, maybe three sometimes and i just dont need it! I dont feel bloated, i dont feel overstuffed or uncomfortable like i would usually, and im spreading my meals out eating 5 small portions rather than three huge ones. I just have everything crossed that my hard work pays off on friday and i can restart the usual plan with a clear focus and head.

Anyways enough revaltions on to yesterdays food in a nutshell, brekki i had a bagel, cream cheese and cherry tomatoes, still drinking loads of nas squash and peppermint tea.
My folks came over to go shopping for some clothes for my daughter birthday prezzys and after mooching round town i made them homemade veg soup and oven baked rolls, while i tucked in to 2 wholemeal bread slices, a very small can of baked beans, and a packet of french fries and muched on mangetout throughout the afternoon (now dont forget i cant give out weights etc as this plans specifically for me!) Oh and a satsuma, again squash and peppermint tea makes an appearance.

This is where it all goes down hill...i had a bit of a muzzy head when i woke up that morning but just ignored it, by lunch i was knocking back the pain killers but by tea time i knew i had a migraine coming :-( so i quickly whipped up my tea of pasta, and a chopped tom and veg sauce, glugged down my hightlights hot choc and choccy fingers and headed off to bed, by that time i couldnt see and my hands went numb :-(
Gutting as i also missed two calls from my hubby who ive not spoken to in what seems like forever, as i literally crashed out.
I think im on a caffine come down, as i usually have about 7 big mugs of coffee a day and ive cut it out completely. Milk is an additional unit and i picked food over milk lol.

This morning i still had a bad head but had serious hand shakes as well and felt really shakey too.
An extremely brisk early morning walk round to the seafront blew away (or froze) my remaining fuzzy head.
I head home for my brekki of honey on wholemeal bread and a banana on top.
My bro then popped round for a bit and after a good old natter whilst we all watched Finding Nemo, squirt has a mad fish obsession!
Lunch time arrives and i have a reduced fat cheese toasty, a plum and yogurt, with my carrot allowance, more peppermint tea and squash.

Im getting bored of my teas so i pop to the shops and pick up a box of camomile and honey, camomile and spearmint and raspberry and echinacea tea to try out! Im screwed if i dont like camomile lol.

While squirts havin her tea of sw quorn spag bol and orzo (her fave) i sit down to a snack of crisp bread, low fat cheese spread and chopped tomato. Nom nom nom!

Tea tonight is prawn stirfry again as i had leftovers that needed eating after saturdays tea (dont like waste!) With raspberries and strawberries and fat free fromage frais.
Later on i get a highlights hot choc, 2 choc fingers and a funsize choc bar oh so much yumminess (il miss not havin to syn these when im back on plan!!!)

Now just a quick happy moment...id been really annoyed by my trousers today as they keep falling down so i thought tonight i would retake my measurements, since the 5th march ive lost 10.75" all over! Most comin off my hips, legs and arms, sooo chuffed, and makes up a bit for my gain i had as even though my weights up and down, my body shape in general is down. Id highly recommend measuring yourself for weeks when you think you havent achieved anything...you may well have and lets face it we all need that happy shove and encouragement!

Day One of Fast Forward Conquered!

So my first day has been a success! :-) i started off the day thinking it wasnt going to be too bad but ive decided my definite fails are in an evening and tomorrow il save a few more units for then, but as a trial and error day i think i did ok!

Soooo where to start, i cant give you measurements or weights but i can tell you what ive eaten (i hope lol)
Breakfast... i managed to hold out to eat until nearly 9am despite my early wake up call from my daughter.

We snuggled up in bed watching peppa pig and tucked in to our brekky, she had delicious smelling peanut butter on toast while i had half a grapefruit, weetabix, a big glass of squash, and as i didnt use all my unit of milk up on my cereal, i stealthed in a cheeky coffee.
I think i may end up on withdrawl symptoms from the caffine as im not drinking it for the rest of the week! Eeeek!

Ok feeling good and surprisingly full so far....

I decided to clean my bathrooms, hoover, put some washing on and have a bit of a dust to keep me distracted, all the while glugging on sugar free squash to keep any rumbles at bay.
Until i broke and had my allowed weight of carrots, nibbled very slowly and savoured completely!

Lunchtime swings round so i make another squash and a herbal tea, todays are peppermint, one of my faves!
I weigh out my chicken for my sandwhich, the watercress and my bread. Im also havin my snack of plums as well then its time to go to my friends babyshower!

She had sent me a picture of all the healthy sw food she had lovingly prepped and all the naughties inc cupcakes and pizza, and i have to tell her that i cant have any of it, boohoo, but she says she will make sure i dont have to set foot in the kitchen so im not around temptation! Bless her how sweet! :-)
So we play games, i win a chocolate egg on the raffle which im giving to squirt for her easter egg, check out the restraint! I then win another game of guess the bump size and win a baby bottle full of choc too (man this is torture!!) And to top it off squirt keeps giving my food to hold, like her cupcake and other such nommys! But i am saintly and resist all! I think the girls are impressed...either that or think im bonkers!

So after rummaging around in couscous and sultanas for mini babies and sucking ice cubes with mini babies in (yep thats exactly how it sounds) pinning sperm in a womb and playing bingo, its time to scoot home.

I have decided to have my other unit of snacks whilst squirt eats her tea, so have cracker breads, weighed soft cheese and tomato and yet more squash and herbal tea.

After baths and bed i whip up my dinner and this is when it gets hard, i weigh out all my veg allowance and prawns and noodles and well....lets just say its what i would consider a starter! Eeeek again!!! However i do get a pudding with this one of raspberries and fat free fromage frais, more tea and more squash.

With nothing on telly yet again i decide to go stick a film on in bed, light the candle i won earlier and fill my room with a lemon and green tea smell. Im really missing my hubby tonight too which isnt helping and usually turn to food when im feeling a bit blue...thank god for my final units of choccy fingers, a hot choc and fun size choc bar!

Now i know it sounds like a lot of food but trust me the pictures dont do it justice of just how small these portions are!

Now im off to sleep as i have a feeling i will be up most of the night peeing!!!!

:-)

Is Fast Forward my winning solution?

Hello!!!! Sorry again for my absence but work on weds and thurs really blows me all out of sorts and the days disappear before i have a chance to realise that they have begun! And i had such a crappy day wednesday i just wanted to hide away from the world and rock! Broken cars, having to be rescued by my dad and brother, horrid people at work and a horrific mood was not good and it made for a very unhappy me and blogging fell by the "weigh" side ...boom boom!!!

As i said on my fb slimming world page "slimming world style" (shameless plug!!)  i am trying a different plan this week. Fast Forward.
Its a consultant led plan thats tailored specifically for the person following it, so this makes my blog a bit null and void really for most, if not all of you and for that i really apologise.

So I faced a heartbreaking 2.5lb gain again this week and cannot for love nor money find out whats going on and its getting me into a state of depression to be honest, im good for weeks on end to gain or maintain, occassionally a little loss and whilst i weigh in people and sit in group and listen to others saying "ooo i ate a whole cake, maccys, 5 meals out, my body weight in wine, etc etc" then see they have a 4lb loss, it gets a bit dishearting and i feel rather dejected over it all. Saying that i do love weighing in people, to see everyones progress and give out awards etc and hearing how everyones been in general (so carry on girls... as some of my group read this!!!) ♥

Ok, its * week (first time this year!) So that probably accounts for it but i have been angelic this week, you could literally see my halo shining from space. So my theory was that even if it was the dreaded week that i should maintain or maybe lose abit...but nope my body had other ideas.

It occured to me that ive been shifting inside the same half a stone for the last nine months and to be perfectly honest its just not on anymore, i try my hardest to eat different things, if i have blow outs to reign it back in again to minimalise the damage, i drink water and fluids all day, ok i should exercise.more but all the crappy weather has made it hard to go out for the lovely long walks i really enjoy so im going to make a concious effort to up that abit more.

Speaking to my fab consultant though, she understands how frustrated im getting and is always willing to help in any way she can and fully supports me doing this.
It actually says on the booklet that this is a slimming world straight jacket, so im a little nervous to say the least but willing to give anything a go, before i start whacking off limbs!!!!

I read the booklet inside and out when i got home from group and its not too hard to get to grips with once you know how many points you get. Now like i said i cant go into too many details but you get to pick bits off a pre weighed and pre made up menu every day of a breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and a salad/veg unit too to make up your points.
I made a list of what i was having at each meal so its all attached to my fridge and i knew what i was shopping for and then my consultant rang me and i checked with her that i was going about it the right way. Now ive been told the best way to tackle this plan is to spread your meals out and drink lots! You have no superfree to fall back on when your hungry and no free foods to pick on in the evening! :-/

Shopping was a wierd one today as i didnt pick up my usual mass of fresh fruit and veg, just a few bits here and there, no bits for syns or really anything i usually eat so this is going to be a real eye opener!

Maybe this is the answer im looking for to get me in the right direction again, re-look at the whole slimming world plan and refresh it all again, maybe even tho im eating the right foods and slimming world says you can eat until satisfied, maybe, just maybe its something like portion control i need to look at and this will help to shrink my stomach to eating smaller meals???

Maybe my delightful body will yet again screw me over and il be the only person to put ON whilst being on it?!!?!?

Only fridays weigh in will tell me and im excited and nervous at the same time...im going to need lots of luck and probably a gag or zip on my mouth...with my first hurdle of my lovely friends baby shower tomorrow...*carla your famous again!!!* so no yummy cakes or treats for me il be armed with my bottle of water instead!

Right night night guys and girls see you all tomorrow when i regale you with tales of my day :-)  xx

Tuesday 19 March 2013

Awesome Curry Night!!

Hiya all! :-) hope ur all well...

Well someone must finally have been listening to my order of sunshine as i woke up and after a rather misty start , it turned into a gorgeous day, no coat required either so im a happy bunny. It also put me into a rather sunny mood as well.

So i start off with a sunny breakfast and somewhat tropical affair of my HeB of muesli, soaked in a pineapple activia yogurt and i added to it strawberries, grapes, a plum and kiwi as well as im back on an Extra Easy day today. I also had my usual coffee and had a fab idea of using a massive cocktail glass that my hubby bought my back from the Hard Rock Cafe to fill up with nas squash. My theory was it was big enough to graze on and i had some serious thirst going on today, i think i got through 7 of these glasses!!!!

Me and bubs then took a mooch into town to meet up with my seriously crazy sister in law, apparently she was having a shockingly bad day! Anyway after about an hour she had to go and deliver some bits so we took a slow mooch home through the park to hunt down squirrels and jump in puddles :)

Lunch today was orzo but this time cooked up with courgette, mushrooms, peppers and onions in some soy sauce. Was lovely stuff and i sat there with the sun shining through the windows and finally felt warm and cosy and more cheerful :-)
I followed that with 2 frozen muller greek yogurts and some more squash, then i did something that ive not done in ages and that was napped....i actually fell asleep on the sofa and didnt wake up til bubs woke me up half hour later! Seriously refreshed now, i need to sleep earlier at night!

So after some doll playing, jumping on the bed, bird watching out the balcony, and other shananigans i decided to start prepping for tea.

Now theres a history behind this tea...its a legendary curry made by one of the girls in group, it has fantastic weight loss helping along properties...kind of medicinal if you get what i mean! Especially if you go hot hot hot on it!
Start by frying onions, peppers and chicken with frylight in a big saucepan. Add 3 cloves of garlic, and i added 6 birdseye chillies to mine as they needed using up, then add in 2tbsp garam masala, 2tbsp paprika, 2tbsp turmeric, 2tsp chilli powder, chicken oxo, 2tbsp tom puree, 3tbsp hot curry powder, and i also add in a good shake of cayenne pepper and chilli flakes. Then a massive jar of passatta, splash of soy sauce and veg of your choice. Simmer for as long as possible.
I added tinned potatoes, okra, peas, courgette, mushrooms and spinach to mine as i needed to make enough for lunches at work.
I also served it with cauliflower rice (cauliflower grated and cooked in the microwave for 3 mins) and a sliced banana on top, which i learnt tonight via my very lovely consultant is a very popular south african thing to do and i needed it to cool my burning mouth!

After a lovely long chat on the phone with my absent hubby, i decided to call it a night and go to bed with a bowl of mango and kiwi and an options hot choc and sit and write this :-)

So im now off to sleep as its back to work time again tomorrow and i want to be up early to go see my folks before hand :-) night everyone xx

Rain Rain Go Away....

Todays edition of The Blog is bought to you from the comfort of my bed as theres naff on telly and im cold! So all snuggled up with my duvet and a film :)
What another crappy day of rain and wind, im in some serious need of some sunshine and warmth, a chance to get out and have some fresh air in my lungs and stretch my legs with a walk without having to wrap up in so many layers i look even more like the mitchellin man and spend the rest of the day drying off and shivering! Poor bubba is dying to get outside and run around...altho we did splash in a few puddles when we braved the rain for town for an hour.

Anyway i digress... green day again...
Breakfast today was a small can of spaghetti hoops on my HeB of Nimble and my usual cuppa to set me up for the day.
Bit of washing and hoovering later and my lovely dad pops up to say hi, him and my mum have been away for some of that much needed sun...seriously jelous and came in sporting a tan and slightly peely nose! After another coffee he has to go to work so i set about making dinner.

Lunch was 2 field mushroom, grilled up with a whole aubergine which i had thinly sliced, some orzo pasta mixed with a laughing cow triangle and then my other HeA of reduced fat cheese sprinkled on top and a sprig of rocket, scrummy and really filling. I also had a glass of lemon sugar free crush and 2 greek mullers.

While i was cooking up my chilli for tea i snacked on carrots and 50g of reduced fat houmous which is a HeB on a green day (thank god its all gone as i seriously ♥ the houmous lol) and 2pts of sugar free squash.

For tea i made quorn chilli and butternut squash chippies.
2 red onions, quorn mince, hot chilli powder, cayenne pepper, tinned toms and kidney beans in chilli sauce. Really lovely and filling and i had been looking forward to it all day, however a few of my chips burnt in my crappy oven which desperately needs a new seal!!

Whilst cuddled under my duvet im nibbling on pineapple and some strawberries, with another (oooopsy!) greek muller and topping off with a lemon green tea and an options hot choc.

Im also trying tonight my purchase from Holland And Barrett, aloe vera colon cleanser to help with my tummy, which has been largely helped by a lovely member in my group who gave me some tablets to help ease the bloating and pain (thank you again Karen!) So hopefully these will work their magic as they came highly recommended by the lady working in there for restoring natural balance of everything! And i deffo need some restoring and as they are natural im helping they will be a bit more gental :-) wish me luck x

Serious munchy day

Good evening all, im sorry but this is only going to be a short one as i got caught up watching ghost and its now reeeeeeeally late!

I was on a red day today and kind of wished i wasnt as i had a serious attack of the munchies and probably could have done with some carbs to calm the cravings, but i always preplan my food a week in advance so i only have to do one shop a week.

Breakfast this morning was a rather yum bacon, mushroom and 2 small red onion sarnie with my HeB of nimble bead and a coffee.

Headed off to Asda for a mooch round and found my beloved muller greek yogs on bargain for £1.50 so picked up a cheeky pair and they are currently freezing away in the depths of my freezer.

When i got home i tucked into a rather heartl salad of 'steves leaves and peashoots' cucumber, plum toms, red cabbage, grapes, radish, cress, carrot and chicken roll and a packet of velvet crunch, i think there was a coffee and a coke zero in there as well!

Uh ohhh those munchies kicked in again and i had to have a mango activia and a few carrots to nibble on while bubs tucked into her dinner and i may have dunked my carrot in 4 tblsp of reduced fat houmous...seriously have an obsession at the mo with the stuff!

Tea time was a veg fest of a courgette, a leek and a whole savoy cabbage shredded and cooked with crushed garlic and some frylight and teamed up with 3 healthy living sausages :) followed by my muller :)

As i sat and watched Whoopi Goldberg talk to ghosts i was peckish....again! So made another coffee, finished off my strawberries and a mango. Finally i was full. So off to bed for me and hopefully a slightly more exciting blog tomorrow x

Testing Toddlers & Party Danger Zones!!!

Good evening lovely people!
Tonight im writing this as a very tired mummy, worn out by temper tantrums and other such delights of my charming daughter!
However it wasnt all bad as it was one of my friends little boys first birthday party today...usually a sentence that fills me with fear....trays of cupcakes, biscuits, crisps, dips, sausage rolls and pizzas, the beige buffet, all full of scrumminess and weight loss sabotage, but not this one ohhhhh nooooo i was going in prepared hahaha take that buffet!!! In YOUR face!
I started my day at the rather unsociable hour of 6:45am errrrgh! The devil child decided to wake in a rather shirty and shouty mood this morning, so i decided on the calming decison of watching peppa pig snuggled up under my duvet but alas the peace only lasted 20 minutes before i was dragged out of bed for breakfast (at least there was a 7 on the clock now!) I decided a hearty green day brekky of beans on a HeB of nimble, a fruit salad of strawberrys, kiwi and grapes all washed down with a cuppa.
I was ready to start the day with some clothes washing, various cleaning chores and trying to avoid more strops from satan. God bless the terrible twos! (Shes not even two yet...surely it cant get worse can it?!)
As we were getting ready to head over to paaaarty central, i decided to have my lunch before i went and dug out my orzo pasta that ive been dying to give a go. I frylighted 2 large mushrooms, a big handful of pasta and when they were cooked i bunged some rocket ontop the mushrooms, put the orzo on top of that, sprinkled more rocket on along with some plum tomatoes and 1/2 my HeB of reduced fat cheese.
Bring on the party!!!

As promised there was a varietable feast of goodies including cake and muffins and i proudly resisted all, opting for 2 bread sticks and 2 tblsp of houmous for 7 syns instead. Heavy syns for not alot but i thoroughly enjoyed it and it stopped me wanting cake. I also topped up on tea as well. After lots of natters and catching up and birthday wishing it was time to take miss strops home, although after an inital bumpy start involving fights over a seesaw cow and a fire truck, she did calm down alot and played nicely with the other babies and kiddies so it was a bit more happy days. Needless to say straight away in the car she fell asleep ahhhhh peace!

Once home i dished up her dindins of sw quorn spag bol which after some kicking off she did scoff down. Whilst she ate i had a glass of coke zero cherry and picked on some leftover rice pud from last night as my dinner wouldnt be for another few hours yet.
I had premade the spag bol before leaving so all i had to do was preheat it.
I fried off onions and garlic in frylight, added quorn mince, tom puree, then a handful of mushrooms, a courgette, red pepper, peas, a carton of basil and garlic passata and a half carton of plain passata. Then a splash of dark soy which takes out the tang of the tomatoes. Simmer til cooked :-)
Once buglet had gone to bed i cooked mine up with some rigaoli, riggoli, riaglio or in english some spirally type pasta and asparagus. Pasta is on offer for 50p at tesco so i bought a whole heap of funny shapes and sizes! Topped of with the second half of my HeB of cheese and another coffee.
I then spent the rest of the evening chattin to my friend and putting the world to rights, well attempting to anywho!

So eventually tiredness kicked in and i retire to bed with a fruit salad of a banana, kiwi, yellow plum, grapes, one giant strawberry, a pineapple activia and a lemon and green tea so night y'all sleep well x

Hello.....is it me you're looking for?!

Hello fond followers im sooooooo sorry for not blogging this past week!
I deserve a good slap on the hand, i have been so busy visiting friends at the beginning of the week for some long over due girly catch ups especially before one swans back off out to Auz again soon :-(
Then before i knew it it was work time again and i decided to kip up my folks as they are away at the mo and went and saw my bro and his gf, so we arrived at friday, and a start of my new shiney week, free of bad food and hopefully a resolution to find out whats occuring with my poorly tummy :-( i think this week has not been helped by eating full fat white bread at the beginning of the week, not drinking enough and not eating enough veg, ive loosely been on plan eating good brekkies and teas, as my friend was doing SW before she has her little boy she always cooks me sw friendly food when i go see her, this time a rather scrum chicken, mushroom and bacon risotto. Nommers! But there were naughties in the form of alcohol and dips lol.
So due to the fact im bloated beyond belief and ahem, rather bunged up, i decided to take a "holiday" this week and start afresh straight from group.
I picked a green day as my fridge and cupboards were bare due to being away all week, all that was left was some pasta!
So due to no milk i made a couple of hot chocs (4syns) to warm up and settled down to a lunch of macaroni with 1 laughing cow cheese triangle (2 syns) and the rest of the carrots, i then discovered a cherry activia yogurt in the back of the fridge too.

I have been investigating into supplements i can give a try to help with my mysterious digestive issues, and im going to raid holland and barrett i think on monday for some acidolphilous and colon clense and maybe a bottle of acai, all supposed to help clean up my insides. Previously when ive been to the drs ive been prescribed laxido, movicol, senna, and even a magnesium based liquid for heartburn that if you OD on it, its a laxative! Im not so keen on quick fixes as ive read horrid things about becoming reliant on laxatives and the bowel forgetting how to work so im looking for something more natural to work more long term and maybe rejiggle everything back to what its supposed to be doing! Ive also swapped aspartameand sucrolose based sweetner to stevia as well. Wish me luck! Oh and i munched a packet of skips and coffee whilst researching (4 syns)

Anywho.... i then went shopping for lots of yumminess to fill my fridge and picked up a cheap danio cherry yogurt, oh my days they are so thick and creamy and not bad for 1.5syns will deffo be having again as they are very filling too.

I decided to have sw chips, HeA of cheese and beans for tea but at group everyone was talking about the new Taste of Asia book, which after flicking through will be purchased next week, so i had seen a recipe on the facebook sw page for spring rolls made with cannaloni tubes. I think they are a seriously good substitute for the greasy deep fried spring rolls from a takeaway.
All i had to do was preheat the oven, boil up some water and add as many cannaloni tubes as you want, i made 6
;-) until they are al dente, remove and place on a baking tray. In a frying pan i put finely chopped onion, mushroom and a bag of beansprouts and a splash of dark soy sauce. When they are cooked and slightly cool, fill each of the tubes and place back on the tray. Spray with frylight and bung in the oven until crispy. Amazeballs.

Now im making up a big batch of rice pudding with diet cream soda and the rest of my HeA of milk to have for pudding and picking on tomorrow as im at a kiddies birthday party where theres bound to be cake and crisps. This time i have some vanilla yogurt to mix in as well for extra creaminess.

And thats today done and im off with my rice pudding to my bed to watch my twilight breaking dawn part 2 dvd, courtesy of my darling daughter and mothers day :-)

Slacking on the blogg-age!

Apologies for not posting a blog yesterday but it was a busy day and i just didnt have the time to fit it all in!
Let me start at the beginning....

Weigh in morning, after a very shakey start to the week i managed to scrape in a pound loss again this week, not great but considering my scale peek i was expecting a gain....see doesnt do to be checking the scales midweek!
After weigh in me and two lovely ladies from group went to our local tea rooms and had cake and tea! I had the most delish scone and cream and cuppa, naughty me! But it was a better choice amongst snickers cake, mahoosive choc cheesecakes, rocky road bars the size of my head and warm fudge cake! See sensible choice now!!!
After finishing up there i went home and got ready to go up to see my nephew who turned two...now on every previous birthday ive missed cake, this time i was force fed literally...by my sis in law a chunk about 1" cubed! Apparently so i couldnt moan about missing it this time! Then it was time to go pick hubby up from his ship, and get some tea. We decided on a curry and settled on a dhansak and rice about 9 syns as 360g is 6.5 syns and it was 560g. 2 popadums for 8 syns and 4syns for mango chutney. After all that i decided to flexi syn the day and just get back on it saturday morning.

So on to today.

Breakfast was plums, melon and an apple chopped up with a coffee and coconut muller light.
We then went and did a bit of shopping as i no food in the house at all and only needed little bits as i wont be at home much next few days.

Then popped into town for a few more bits and a prezzy hunt for a friend, by the time we got home i was marving so had giant cous cous, bulgar wheat and quinoa with courgette, mushroom and onion. Ahhhh thats better :-) oh and a bottle of pepsi max as a bit of treat!

Then back out again to get some inspiration for our daughters second birthday, easier said than done but we have a few ideas and looking at decorating her room for her as well as it resembles a nursery rather than a toddlers room, and shes far more grown up than her two short years! I took with my my two HeB hifi bars to nibble on.

So back home yet again and its time for tea.
Tonights menu is homemade wrap pizzas, sw chips and salad bits.
I use the warburtons thin wraps as they are a lovely size and only 8syns, just like eating a thin crust pizza.
I top mine with tom puree, mushrooms, onion, pepper, my HeA of cheese, rocket and cherry tomatoes, pop in the oven until cooked.

Pudding tonight is the quark, mixed with white options hot choc 2syns and ive finally found tesco own stevia sweetner so mixed some of that in too, bunged in the freezer for a bit and taaadaaaaa mousse type cream pudding!

Loverly jubberly, now to snuggle up to the hubby and look at DIY stuff! :-)

Where did this week go?

I cant believe its thursday again, where did this week go? Weigh in for me tomorrow morning and after yesterdays faux par im a little nervous about it to be honest!
Ive had a real strange day today, i just dont seem to be functioning at all and when i do, its not functioning right!
Im tired which is probably the main issue, i had a real pants night sleep last night, i was awake every hour pretty much for some reason, my daughter decided to scream and cry in her sleep at 4am which frightened the life out of me and consequently i "slept" the rest of the night with one ear and eye open making sure she was alright. My alarm then rudely decided to go off at 6am so it was time to get up and go to work...booooo!!!

Im on a green day again today and breakfast was dried weetabix minis that i had to eat on the run, well in the car, naughty me! I had a cuppa when i got to my mums to drop off pickle.

After a very odd morning at work where i seemed to be on another planet, more than usual some would say...it was time for lunch.
I had left over quorn chilli, a berry selection box of raspberries and blueberries and a packet of velvet crunch. Oh and the ever important brew. I also managed another 2 litres of water today too.

After my shift i went shopping for snacks for the weekend as on sunday evening im travelling up to Sheffield with one of my friends to go visit another friend and i want to try and be as good as possible, i bought grapes and free fizzy water for the car and mugshots and tesco cassava thins to snack on but more on all that on sundays blog.
However it wasnt until i picked up my daughter i realised i had forgotten to get me some tea for tonight, derrrr!
I wanted low fat chilli chicken supernoodles but my fab tesco doesnt do them so i chose the rather naughty beef full fat version for 10syns ouchy!!!

Once i was home and lil un was in bed i put my noodles on, cooked off asparagus, a pepper and red onion along with my second HeA of half fat cheese and ohhhhhhh my days was it scrummy! Totally worth my 10 syns lets hope it doesnt impact on tomorrows weigh :-/

Now im off to watch my silly ghost program and hit the hay early tonight for hopefully a better sleep, and hubbys home tomorrow too! Yaaaay!

Cardinal syns

Well i did a really stupid thing this morning, and i know everyone does it....i stood on my scales before weigh in day......it instantly plunged me into a pit of dispair as the evil thing says ive gained 3lbs!!!!! Ok so i know i was a little (ok a lot!) Bad over the weekend but i have been good the last few days and ive been keeping active as well, walking during the day and then my wii work in the evening. Dont get me wrong i wasnt aiming for a loss this week because of the weekend but a maintain would have been great and i would have been ok with that. I dont say it very often but i was glad to be at work today to stop me from going on that downwards spiral of "to hell with it then"
Im more than aware the fact ive been active will probably play some part in it as i ache in the morning where ive been doin the weights, i drank about 4litres of water yesterday tho so im really hoping that it levels back out again for friday.
Anyways it inspired my to have a breakfast of pineapple, grapes and strawberries with a green tea and lemon.
I got ready to go drop my daughter off at nanny and grandads while im at work and because im still annoyed at the scales i forget my fleece which has all my work stuff in ... great start!
A cuppa at my folks and im ready for work, well sort of!

Lunch time rolls around and i have left over mushy pea curry and a brew but as i had left everything else behind theres no picture to accompany todays lunch, i also had 2 litres of water during my shift as well.

Back off to pick back up my girly and im hank marvin, so pinch one of my dads rice cakes to stave off the hunger as i wont be eating until later tonight after shes bathed and bedded amd obviously tea is cooked!

Tea tonight is quorn chilli with butternut squash chips, courgette and aubergine. It was supposed to be served in a giant pepper but the pepper collapsed lol
I make my chilli by softening off two chunky chopped onions, add in quorn mince, then a good shake of hot chilli powder, tinned toms and kidney beans in chilli sauce. Oven on and whack in the chopped veggies.
Now ive slightly booboo'd and im on a green day and ive only got one slice of wholemeal bread in the house but i dont have anything else for a healthy extra...naughty me!!! So il have a milky hot choc later before bed and have to miss out my others :( sad times! Must remember to pick up hifi bars in group friday!

For pud im having mango and the other half of the pineapple from this morning.

Wooo hoooo a day on plan! :-)

It was a gorgeous sunny day today and its put me in a really sunny mood, therefore a good eating day, hmmm maybe im fat cos we have too many rainy, cold, wintery days and as our summer didnt really start thats why my weights the same as back in june!!! I suffer from FSAD - food seasonal affected disorder!!!! I really think i could be on to something here!

Brekki this morning came in the shape of cheesy beans on toast, im on a green day today so get 2 A choices and 2 B choices, i had 40g of half fat cheese, HeA, sprinkled over beans and two slices of my HeB bread all washed down with my usual cuppa.

I then spent the next hour or so getting ready and dancing around to Rihanna on the telly whilst waiting for my sis in law and nephew to arrive.

My mission today was finding my mum a bday prezzy and we ended up walking into town and spending a small fortune but did manage to find something i hope my mum will like! We were naughty and treated the kiddies to a sausage roll from Greggs and my sis in law got overly excited at a sausage roll with egg and bacon in....yuk!!! I was polishing my halo outside and then ran into tesco to buy strawberries, oranges, a pineapple and mango! (Seriously halo is glistening!!)

After the kiddies had a run round the park and said hello to the animals we mooched back home again and iade myself noodles and veg stirfry, the noodles were mixed into some soy sauce, veg was peppers, mushrooms and a stirfry pack. Really filling and served with some left over nas orange fizz from last night.

This afternoon has been a bit of a lazier affair with a dolly teaparty and silly games and bouncing on beds still it was lovely having the sun streaming in the windows and the tunes up on the telly.

Tonights tea was mushy pea curry and rice. Sounds disgusting and as an avid hater of mushy peas i was hesitant to try BUT its fabulous and tastes like chip shop curry sauce.
I took a big pan and added 2 cans mushy peas, 1 tin baked beans, 1 can chopped toms, and a massive shake of curry powder as i love my curries HOT! While thats heating through, in another pan i put an chunky chopped onion, pepper, mushrooms and a courgette in to cook and a pan of rice on too.
Once the pea mix is warmed through i blend mine til nearly smooth and add in the chunky veg, big stir round and serve on the rice. I had mine with my second HeB of bread, officially the most bread ive eaten in months but i had to dunk!!!

Pudding later is strawberries, the rest of the ff rhubarb yogurt and a syns worth of mini meringues on top (10 pieces) and il treat myself to a hot choc before bed.

Right im off to complete another evening of wii fit and body magic, i managed 2 hours last night of jogging, boxing, hula hooping and step aerobics and burned off 556 calories :-)

Fakeaway night!

Good day to you all!
Well i started my day today saying by to hubby for the week, and hello to hopefully a week not full of syn and badness, in redemption for my weekend!

Breakfast this morning was my HeB of muesli, with tesco ff rhubarb and vanilla yogurt, 2 plums, some blueberries and grapes with a big cuppa.

Dressed and off to the dentist, it was Leahs first trip and well she didnt exactly play ball but thought it was hilarious that the dentist was poking around in mummys mouth and blowing air in it, happy to report i have fab teeth still woohoo! I nibble a small handful of kettle chips to celebrate, ive synned at 5.

After the dentist im off to my lovely friends house so the kiddies can play and we can drink tea and natter til the cows come home! (Haha here i have to confess as she is reading this that i ate one yougurt covered raisen!!!)

Couple of cuppas later...half of one which ended up under my bum and all over her sofa...sorry again!!... and a banana that Leah didnt want, i thought we had terrorised my friend enough lol and mooched on home for some lunch.
I had lettuce, red cabbage, cucumber, ham, and a spoon of mini pasta bows with the last spoon of my cowboy casserole from last night...stuffed was an understatement!

After squirt had her nap we went to watch daddys ship go out and waved like a pair of looneys in the cold, but he did apparently see us which was good so we didnt freeze for nothing!
Back home she was fed, bathed and bedded and i set to work on my fakeaway sweet and sour chicken chow mein.

I cooked off pepper, onion, mushrooms, water chestnuts, chicken and beansprouts in a slug of passata, a veg stock cube sprinkled in, soy sauce, 330ml of diet fizzy orange and some red wine vinegar. Then boiled up some dried noodles, after the liquid reduced down it was ready to serve and scoff. Really tasty and filling :-)

Tonight i have set up some programs on the telly and i plan on doing a couple of hours step ups on the wii as a pre 30 day shred warm up beginning tomorrow whilst watching them, its my start to working towards my body magic awards, if i cant get my 3stone shiney, il get my bronze fitness award instead and hopefully the 3stone shiney will swiftly follow :-)

Normal Business Resumed, Extra Easy Style

Happy Sunday to you all! :-)

I was not amused at my silly o'clock wake up call this morning, who gets up before 7am on a sunday?! My daughter does thats who!
So i start my sunday off with a mahooooosive cup of coffee, and decide to have beans and mushrooms on toast this morning for brekki, and picked on a few grapes whilst i was cooking it up.

Back into town we strolled again today to pick up some cleaning bits and dinner for tonight, but for some reason the small person turns into a complete devil child, theres squinnying, screams, tears and tantrums, we end up in a cafe buyin her a sandwhich for lunch and shes not having any of it, its nearly thrown on the floor, so after glugging my tea down as im getting those lovely stares...(those of you with kids will understand "that" look that people give you when your childs paddying!) I quick march her back home and down for a nap...ahhhhh peace! :-) time for me to rustle up some lunch as i avoided all cakes, pastries, and other such yum naughty items out! I munch on 4 carrots and a slice of ham whilst cooking.
Todays lunch is giant cous cous, bulgar wheat and quinoa mixed together and boiled in a pan of chicken stock and a small glug of dark soy sauce. Then as thats softening i "fry" off in frylight mushrooms, pepper, red onion and 1/2 an auberguine. Once all cooked mix into the cous cous and serve! I had the rest of my pringle crumbs and a cocktail sausage too. All synned appropriately!
Whilst cooking our tea i nibbled on a corn on the cob :)

Tea tonight is a new one on me and a recipe that was in a magazine last year and recently posted in our SW group fb page...campfire stew!
Basically its sausages, bacon, baked beans, peppers, onion, garlic, chillies, tomato puree all cooked in a big pan with some paprika, served with mash and green beans....delish and one i will be having again!

Errrrgh got some serious sugar cravings this eve really unusal for me as im more of a savoury girl so ive just had 10 mini meringues for a syn and a pineapple with sweetner, i cant feel my tongue but the cravings been, temporarily i suspect, muted! Oh and i highly recommend the new coke zero cherry too, tastes like normal cherry coke :)
For the rest of the week i aim to keep my syns under 5 to make up for the last couple of days and also start working towards my bronze body magic awards in the evenings, Chris is back to sea so im dusting off my 30 day shred and blowing cobwebs off my wii.

Date Night and Bad Food!

It all started so well and went downhill at lunchtime!!!

I got up feeling all positive and saintly this morning, i made myself a big cuppa and snacked on a few grapes whilst cooking up a red onion, mushroom and fat trimmed bacon sandwich, using my HeB of two slices from a 400g wholemeal loaf. Im back on extra easy today so i could be a bit more flexible tonight.

Then we mooch off into town to hunt down a kettle that doesnt give you first degree burns when u pour the water out, but no luck cant find one we like without spending a fortune, so decide to head home after wandering around a few shops and go a bit further afield and end up in our massive asda, bosh we find our kettle but its also getting well past lunchtime and im marvin!! Silly me buys some cocktail sausage and mini sausage rolls for Leah and 3 cocktail sausages and 2 of the mini sausages rolls end up in my belly....damn it!!! I did buy some fizzy water too tho ... im sure that balances it out?!?! No? This is why i never usually go anywhere near a supermarket unless ive eaten, its dangerous ground!!!
To make matters worse we then have to go to Tesco too to pick up one of squirts birthday prezzys and im going hang my head in shame and admit i had a krispy kreme donut, the jam one, cuppa and then picked up two tiger rolls, garlic sausage and crisps! Wtf?! What is going on!!!!! Now im sitting here feeling stuffed, bloated and guilty! :-(
However a slightly good outcome of all of this, and its only slightly, ive been sat looking through the menu for date night tonight. We are off to a rather posh Thai restaurant for our valentines/anniversary/mothers/fathers/birthday/christmas/newyears/valentines meal, theres two valentines in there as Chris has missed this years and will be away for next years too, thanks to his upcoming deployment, so our very lovely friend has volunteered herself for babysitting duties so we can have our last meal out together before he goes :-) i was originally going to have a thai curry but instead im going to choose the more low syn noodley salad type thing to redeem myself after lunch and pull back a few syns!

Well date night was awesome!!!
We went to Koh which is a very posh Thai Tapas Restaurant but without the prices, well except the champagne at £320 a bottle...ouchy!!
We started our meal off with the tapas dishes, i had satay chicken, probably not the best choice but one of my faves, Chris has crispy squid and we had a portion of thai red curry and pork spring rolls, i actually thought id died and gone to heaven!!! Managed to limit myself to a disarrono and diet coke, well done me lol
Main i had an absolutely stunning Phad Thai, noodles, spring onions, chicken, bean sprouts om a nom nom! Chris has Tamerind Duck with crispy seaweed and crispy Vermicelli noodles, oh my days ive never seen anything so funny, everytime he took a bite of these noodles they pinged off left, right and centre! One hit a fellow diner in the back of the head and one got me! And we shared a coconut rice... So not the most vertious dinners but hey ho!!
Home time for a brew  :-)

Total syns A Gazzillion but worth every one...back on plan tomorrow :-)

Ps theres no lunch or donut picture as we were out and phoneless!

Disappointment Where There Shouldnt Be

So weigh in morning for me today, i get to group early as i help to weigh in people so no brekki for me today, bad girl! However our very kind shop lady makes a rather delish hot choccy for me as our social team gets weighed and set up.

So how did i do....i lost a pound. Albeit a respectable and healthy pound i was really disappointed! After such a large gain last week i was hoping to knock a bit more off but as my lovely consultant says a pound is still a loss and i should be happy with that!

I thoroughly enjoyed group today, its nice to have a couple of hours to myself this week just for me, as usually Leah comes with me, we had some fantastic losses and celebrated our Biggest Loser, the lady who won is a true inspiration to us all losing an incredible 5st 10lb in just 5months, she looks amazing and we are all really proud of her :-)
I really do love our little group, full of support, laughs and loads of hints, tips and celebrations ♥

Finally back home im flying solo as Chris has run off to play golf again but we have nothing and i mean literally NOTHING in our cupboards and fridge, so im having a lunch on plan but off if that makes sense! Im havin the last of the potatoes before they resemble aliens in my cupboard, i found a small tin of spag hoops in the back of the cupboard and a dried up bit of cheese! With a glass of coke zero. Oh sad times with no veg or fruit in sight stroll on shopping this afternoon! But still a tasty lunch as im ravenous :-) and this is now my ultimate comfort food so happy days.

Afternoon spent shopping and finally filling up my empty cupboards and fridge equals happy me! We have my folks over for tea tonight and decided on gammon, sw chips, beans and mushrooms, not really enough superfree on mine but fridays are usually my treat night so in the grand scheme of things its not horrific, and i cut the fat off my gammon too just incase you were wondering, so really and truely a day on plan but off plan.... but il be straight on it like sonic come tomorrow again, until tea time but more about that on tomorrows blog ;-)

Now im settling down to a hot choccy and my fave muller greeks, im vowing this coming week that although they are on offer of 2 packs for £2.19 in tesco i will not be bulk buying again, altho they are very low syn they arent free foods so maybe thats why my losses werent great this week, so will be focusing on superfree puddings instead more than yogurts.

Well see you all tomorrow for another instalment :-)

Total syns im guesstimating at around 12 for the cheese, yogurts and hot choc but no more today to be on the safe side

Oh and theres no pics as my phone camera did funny things and wouldnt work properly :-/
